Visa for Foreign Tourists in General Santos City- Philippines
For foreign travelers wishing to visit the Philippines, a Tourist Visa may be required in order to be allowed entry into the country. A Visa for Foreign Tourists may be obtained from the Philippine Embassy office located in your country, provided that all requirements are met and applicable fees are paid in full.
On the other hand, there are several foreign visitors allowed to travel to the Philippines, whether for business or tourism, for as long as their stay does not exceed 21 days and they can present a valid return ticket for their trip home.
Countries Allowed Entry Without a Tourist Visa
If you are traveling to the Philippines and are a citizen of any of the following countries, you may be allowed to enter and stay for 21 days:

Australia
Bahamas
Bahrain
Brunei Darussalam
Cambodia
Chile Colombia
Denmark
El Salvador
Fiji
France
Germany
Greece
Iceland
Japan
Sweden
Switzerland
USA
These are only a fraction of the list of countries allowed to visit the Philippines without a Visa for Foreign Tourists, good for 21 days.
On the other hand, holders of a valid Brazil passport or an Israel passport may also be allowed entry to the country without a Visa for Foreign Tourists, provided that the stay does not exceed 59 days.
For travelers visiting the Philippines not exceeding 7 days, the following are allowed entry without a Tourist Visa: holder of a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passport; British national Overseas passport; Portuguese passport issued in Macao and Macau Special Administrative Region passport.
Tourist Visa Application
For travelers required to obtain a Visa for Foreign Tourists, the following requirements are needed:
Tourist Visa Application F.A. Form 2; completely filled-out and answered as accurately as possible
Valid Original Passport; good for at least 6 months beyond the intended period of stay
1 2 x 2 photo taken not more than 6 months prior to the application
Photocopy of applicants ticket or confirmed travel itinerary
Proof of financial capacity i.e. travelers cheques, bank statements, ownership of real estate properties
For applicants who cannot personally appear before the Consular Office, the application form must be duly notarized by a local Notary Public
Payment of Visa Application Fees
For travelers already in General Santos City, with a valid Visa for Foreign Tourists, who wish to extend their stay; you may visit the local Bureau of Immigration Office at 2nd Fl., Arcade II East Asia Royale Hotel, National Highway, General Santos City.
