Visa Extensions in General Santos City- Philippines
Foreigners visiting the Philippines, in particular General Santos City, may obtain an entry and exit visa good for 21 days. In technical terms however, this is actually not a visa but a permit to visit for a limited 21 days.
This visit permit officially becomes a Tourist Visa once travelers apply for Visa Extensions, good up to 38 days. After the first 59 days of the visas validity period, travelers may once again apply for Visa Extensions.
Where to Get a Visit Permit and Visa
The initial 21 days of visit permit may be acquired directly once visitors arrive at the airport or port. The 38-day Visa Extensions may also be immediately obtained from these locations.
For travelers already in General Santos City, an Immigration Office is available in the city for Visa Extensions. The Bureau of Immigration Office in General Santos City can be located at the second floor of the Arcade II East Asia Building, Royal Hotel, National Highway.
