If ever you decide to drop by at the restaurant, some of the top selling dishes ordered are crispy hito with mango salsa, sweet and sour deep fried catfish with shredded green mango, a little amount of sweet shrimp paste, watsai soup, salted eggs and roasted peanut, to name just a few. Likewise, you can also order Asian stew with a mix of dried seaweed with quail eggs and different varieties of seafood. The place is also popular for its deep-fried pork knuckles. How Sarangani Highlands Garden and Restaurant came about is already a story by itself. It was started by Dr. Anabelle Abella who had a passion for collecting ornamental plants, particularly the flowering type and her business partner, Dr Tranquilino Ruiz, who was interested in landscaping. With this in mind, the two purchased a parcel of land and converted it into a beautiful garden. With its amazing sights and attractions, many of the residents encouraged the two to set up a restaurant.

Dr. Abella and Dr. Ruiz obliged and Sarangani Highlands Garden and Restaurant was born in July 2007. Since then, the venue has become a popular by-word when it comes to dining pleasure and satisfaction in General Santos City.
