Cambridge Dive Center in General Santos City - Philippines

Cambridge Dive Center is your one-stop diving center in General Santos City; offering several diving trips, a number of PADI diving courses as well as diving supplies. At the moment, it is only one of two diving centers in General Santos City.

Location/Getting There

Cambridge Dive Center is located at the Cambridge Farm Hotel in Purok Malakas, General Santos City. Whether you will be arriving in General Santos City via air or sea travel, you can easily reach Purok Malakas and the Cambridge Dive Center through public transportation; mainly via tricycle or jeepneys rides.

There are also vehicles for hire if you wish to travel around town in a more private transportation.

Languages Offered

The main language for instruction offered at Cambridge Dive Center is English. Filipino is also used.

PADI-certified instructors, led by Cambridge Dive Center operator, Chris Dearne, handle the PADI diving courses here. Diving courses and corresponding rates are as follow:

Dive Rates

Maharlika Area Dive Sites

1 night dive Php 1, 600

Tinoto Area Dive Sites

Dive rates are inclusive of full use of scuba equipment needed for the dive, transportation to the dive site and entry fees.

Cambridge Dive Center would like to advise divers that diving to other dive sites can be arranged upon request. They can offer discounts to divers who bring their own equipment; and equipment rentals are also available to certified divers only.

Furthermore, Cambridge Dive Center advises that divers who cannot present a certification card will not be entertained for equipment rentals.

Other Information

Cambridge Dive Center offers diving trips and courses all year round but they advise travelers who wish to dive to visit any time from April to November.

Travelers are advised that the humidity level in the city is usually at at 70% and water temperature ranges from 24 to 27 degrees Celsius; while air temperature ranges from 25 to 35 degrees Celsius.
